Courses Details
The bachlor of Education programme, generally know as B.Ed., is professional course offered for thoseinterested in pursuing career in teaching & it prepare teachers for upper primary or middle level (class-VI-VII), secondary (class IX-X) and senior secondary (class XI-XII).
Duration
The B.Ed. course is of one academic year. There shall be 160 teaching days in college and 40 days practice of teaching in secondary schools for every trainee.
Eligibility criteria for Students
As per NCTE norms, a candidate should have secured at least 50% marks in aggregate at BA./B.Sc./B.Com. Degree examination or Master degree from any recognized university.
Length of Course
The course is of one academic year duration. There shall be at least 200 teaching days in a year exclusively out of which every trainee shall be required to intership-in-teaching (including practice teaching and skill development) for at least 40 days in secondary/senior secondary school.
Medium of Instruction
Medium of instruction will be English & Hindi except in language paper.
Choice of Subjects as Method
The College offer the following subjects as method:
Language : Hindi, English
Social Science : History, Geography and Civics
Science & Math: Physical Science, Biological Science & mathematics
A Candidate has to choose any one of the following combination:
English & History, English & Civics, Hindi & History, Hindi & Civics, Geography & History, Geography & Civics, Physical and Biological Science, physical Science & Maths.
